After attending my second convention I realized there wasn’t a reliable simple way of knowing which cosplayers were attending which events. You might be thinking, “well that’s what social media does”, but does it? It didn’t for me. Algorithms change constantly keeping posts from reaching followers, most followers forget to go directly to your account, and so many people try to refrain from social media for sanity purposes these days. I knew creating an intuitive and “automated” cosplayer directory would keep everyone connected in a positive refreshing way!

As a cosplay fan and photographer with limited time and resources to attend as many cons as I’d like, CLU helps me and others like me with limited resources prioritize which cons to attend!
